Candidates visit ET one more time

Two of the Texas gubernatorial candidates will make one more swing through East Texas on Thursday.

Democratic candidate Chris Bell is set to speak in Longview at the Gregg County Courthouse at 2 p.m. Bell will also make stops in Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Marshall and Texarkana.

Kinky Friedman, Independent candidate for governor, will rally supporters to vote early on Tyler's downtown plaza at 3 p.m.

"We are very excited to have Kinky come to Tyler for this event," said Kristi Morgan Turner, campaign coordinator for Smith and Cherokee counties.
