Tiger JV game called after halftime, 10-8

The Troup Tiger JV game with Elysian Fields was called after halftime, due to lightning.

The Tigers were trailing 10- 8 when the game was called.

Daniel Dick caught a Nick Reeves touchdown pass from 20 yards out for the lone Tiger touchdown.

Defensive standouts for the Tigers were Joseph Noyola, Frank Rios, Micheal Ritchie and Taylor Beaty, according to Coach Jake Jackson.

The JV will be back in action tonight, traveling to Timpson for a 6:30 kickoff. The JV record is now 4 wins, 4 losses and 2 ties.
