Board adds names to investment pool

Whitehouse Independent School District board members held a short executive session to consider hiring a sixth-grade language arts teacher, but took no action on the matter.

In other matters addressed at Monday's regular board meeting, members approved adding Daniel DuPree and Clint Ray to the list of authorized representatives for the district's TexPool Prime Investment Pool and Lone Star Investment Pool. DuPree is assistant superintendent, and Ray is an accounting specialist who works with Sherrie Lloyd, executive director of financial services.

The board also briefly discussed changes to the senior exit survey.
