Margaret Martinez

Services for Margaret Ann Martinez, 74, Whitehouse, were held Nov. 4 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Whitehouse, with the Rev. Dan Daugherty officiating.

Interment was Nov. 6 in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas under direction of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home.

She was born Oct. 17, 1932, to Jack Taylor and Lillian Langley in Atlanta, Ga. She had lived in Whitehouse for the past two years and was a former California resident. Mrs. Martinez was an executive secretary for the Cola Cola Co. and was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church and a member of The Ladies Elks.

Mrs. Martinez is survived by her husband, Celso Martinez, Whitehouse; children, Deborah Johnson, Whitehouse, and Richard Martinez Murrieta, Calif.; sisters, Mary Frances Ferguson and Cecile Major, both of Atlanta; seven grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.
