Keep Whitehouse Beautiful meets Friday

Keep Whitehouse Beautiful will meet 11 a.m. Nov. 10 at the First Assembly of God Church in Whitehouse. Anyone is welcome.

Henry Marsh Bell Thanksgiving dinner

Henry Marsh Bell will hold the annual Thanksgiving Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 4:30-7 p.m. Adult tickets $7, children age 6 and under $3.50. The lodge is located on Hwy. 110 south of Whitehouse.

TGHS to present Bob Bowman on Nov. 11

The Troup Genealogical/Historical Society will meet Saturday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. at the Troup library. The program will be presented by Bob Bowman, collector of East Texas trivia. Everyone is invited to attend.

Henry Marsh Bell Lodge #1371 meeting

Henry Marsh Bell Lodge will meet Monday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. at the lodge. All Masonic brothers are welcome to attend.

Troup American Legion to meet

Troup American Legion will meet Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. at the legion hall.

Vietnam Veterans to meet at new location

Vietnam Veterans of America, Tyler Chapter, will meet Thursday, Nov. 16 at Traditions on South Broadway in Tyler. All veterans are invited to attend.

Christmas Bazaar at Pleasant Hill

Pleasant Hill Baptist Church will host its first Christmas Bazaar Thursday, Nov. 9 from 6-9 pm. Admittance is free. Food will be served for a small charge. The church is located at 13590 Hwy. 110 South, Tyler; phone 903-561-0445

Parents' night out hosted by teens

The POP Teens at Prince of Peace Catholic Church will be hosting a free Parent's Night Out on Friday, Nov. 10 from 5-10 p.m. Please call the church office at 903-581-9600 to register your child.

Breakfast and carnival Saturday

Ambassador Baptist Church will hold their Annual Thank You Jesus Breakfast and Family Fall Carnival on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 9-11 a.m. The church is located at the top of the hill on Jim Russell Road in Whitehouse.

Whitehouse UMC Bazaar Saturday

The annual Circle of Friends Bazaar is Saturday, Nov. 11 at the Whitehouse United Methodist Church on West Main from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Crafts, baked goods, handmade quilts and Christmas items will be featured. All proceeds benefit children's ministries of the church.

Whitehouse UMC hosts blood drive

The Stewart Regional Blood Center mobile vehicle will be on site for donating at the Whitehouse United Methodist Church on West Main from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 11. Please come and give the gift of life.

First Assembly schedules revival Nov. 12-17

First Assembly of God Whitehouse is having a revival Nov 12-17 with Rev. Danny Stevenson as featured speaker. Times are Sunday, Nov. 12, 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., and Monday-Friday, Nov. 13-17, 7 p.m.

Youth basketball registration deadline nears

Troup football films at Zavalla's

Troup's Athletic Booster Club presents Monday Night Football (Troup Tigers vs Garrison) on Monday, Nov. 13, at Zavalla's Pizza & Wings Restaurant in downtown Troup at 7 pm.

Wildcat playoff tailgate plans under way

The First Baptist Church of Whitehouse and the Whitehouse Athletic Boosters are sponsoring a huge tailgate party prior to the Wildcat's first playoff game. Watch for the date and time to be announced after the regular season games are played Friday night.

Troup trustees to meet Nov. 13

Troup ISD trustees meet Monday, Nov. 13 at 6:30 at the Troup ISD Administration Office at 201 N. Carolina.

Troup City Council meeting canceled

The monthly meeting of the Troup City Council, scheduled for Nov. 14, has been canceled and will be rescheduled later.
