White Horse Entertainment will be holding open auditions for its new horror movie "Totem" at the Film Actor and Crew Lab (12990 Highway 64 East) in Chapel Hill, Dec. 9-10 from 9a.m. to 5 p.m.
"We are ready to start selecting actors for this movie," said director Jeff Walston. "This is the third movie we've shot in the area, and I think this one is going to be a lot of fun because it revolves around a haunted totem pole."
WHE is looking for specific age ranges for this project. Males from the age of 18 to 55 are being sought as well as females from the age of 16 to 45. Minor females must have a valid driver's license and be accompanied by a legal guardian, Walston said.
"Unfortunately, there are no children in this movie; therefore, no children will be auditioned at this time," said Walston. "We are actually scheduling appointments
for actors this time around to make things run smoother, especially for those who are traveling in from out of town," said Walston. "Actors can email us with the day and time they would like to audition, and we will arrange that or the closest time slot for them and confirm it by email."
Interested parties should send a headshot (or color photo if possible) and resume to Attention Casting: White Horse Entertainment, P.O. Box 1925, Whitehouse, Texas 75791, or they can email it to White Horse Entertainment. Actors should take a photo with them to the audition or a photographer will be available to take the photo at no charge.
Walston asks that actors please RSVP for their own convenience.
"Here are some descriptions of some of the characters we are looking for. If you are interested in reading for a particular role, please let us know," said Walston.
