Marie Boaz

Services for Marie Boaz, 69, Tyler, were held Nov. 17, at Lloyd James Funeral chapel with Rev. Alfred Darst officiating. Burial followed at Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home. Mrs. Boaz passed away Monday, Nov. 13, in Tyler. She was born Jan. 10, 1937, in Tyler, to the late LeRoy Cox and Lindy Marie Clark Cox. She worked for Trane in production for 23 years. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Cox.

She is survived by husband of 40 years, Richard Boaz of Tyler; four daughters, Deborah White of Tyler and husband Alan, Pattie Roach of Kilgore and husband Mitchel, Amy Gage of Whitehouse, Daisy Hanna and husband Phil of Tyler; five grandchildren, Edwin Lee Smith, Deana Marie Smith, Dustin Doyle Smith, Amanda Nicole White, and Andreanna Rachelle White; two great-granddaughters, Morgan Ashley Gage, age 5, and Sabrina Noel Smith, age 3.

Pallbearers were Larry Hutchins, Charlie Clakley, Michael Rogers, Paul Scott Cawthon, Jamie Cowart and Tracy Cheatham.
