Cottle, James announce engagement

The engagement of Candace Cottle and Jesse Anthony James, both of Tyler, is announced. The wedding will be held Saturday, January 20, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church, Troup.

The bride-elect, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Cottle of Troup, is a graduate of The University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She teaches fourth grade science and math at W L Kissam Intermediate School, Chapel Hill Indepentdent School District.

The future bridegroom, son of Mrs. Anne James of Tyler and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth James of Marshall, is a graduate of The University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor of Science Degree and is seeking his master's in biology. He is currently teaching biology labs at The University of Texas at Tyler.
