Last chance to enter quilt drawing

Hundreds of hours have gone into completing the quilt that will be awarded to the winning raffle ticket on Saturday, Dec. 2 at the Troup Municipal Library at 6 p.m. Along with the drawing, done by Santa himself, the library will host a Christmas Open House serving refreshments.

This one-of-a-kind quilt, dubbed the "Colors of Autumn," is the handiwork of 83 individuals.

Sponsored by Aunt Lillie's Antiques, this king-size quilt was pieced by Carole Wilson. Alice English, Martha Reneau and longtime Aunt Lillie's employee Shirley Mathis have been overseeing the quilt's completion.

Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10. They are available at Aunt Lillie's Antiques in Troup, Tri County Leader in Whitehouse and Troup Municipal Library.

All proceeds go to the Cameron-J. Jarvis Troup Municipal Library and Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
