Katy Willard, daughter of Jimmy and Pam Willard of Whitehouse, participated in the Ark-La-Tex Longhorn Youth Show in Nacogdoches Nov. 19. Her 22-month-old steer, Cole's Resolution, placed first in his class and was named Grand Champion Steer at the show. Katy has saddle-broken the steer and is shown riding him during the opening ceremonies at the East Texas State Fair in Tyler on Oct. 30.
