Blood donation a life-saving gift

The Stewart Regional Blood Center’s theme for December, “The Greatest Gift is You,” encourages people to make time in their busy holiday schedules to roll up a sleeve and save a life.

A drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Brookshire’s Grocery Company will be held at SRBC in Tyler Dec. 21. All donors who give at the Tyler donor center between Dec. 1 and Dec. 20 are eligible to win.

The Tyler donor center is located at 815 S. Baxter Ave. at the second stop sign from TJC. Monday and Friday the Tyler donor center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
