Fred Karner Browning Jr.

EULESS Fred Karner Browning Jr., 78, died Friday, Dec. 8, 2006, at a Grapevine hospital. Funeral services were held Dec. 11 at the Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel in Colleyville. Burial followed at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.

Mr. Browning had been a resident of the H-E-B area for many years and was a member of William C. Martin United Methodist Church and the Good News Class in Bedford. He was a U.S. Air Force retiree, having served his country with pride.

Fred was much loved and he loved much. He was generous, kind and unselfish. His greatest joy was his wife and family.

When people met our daddy, they met what God intended a man to be: friend, brother, son, husband, trusted confidant and Papa.

Our daddy loved the Lord, his trusted Savior, above all else. We believe daddy heard, “Well done, thy good and faithful servant,” when Jesus received him into heaven. He is now with his beloved mother, father, sister, family and friends. Our father left a legacy of love and laughter that will endure forever.

Survivors include his wife, Lela Virginia Browning; sister, Martha West; children, Karla Risenhoover and husband, Milt, Karen Holcombe and husband, Bill, Kathi Hester, Fred Browning III and wife, Sandra, Karol Lovell and husband, Robert; grandchildren, Andrea Patton and husband, Aaron, Misty Lynch and husband, Sean, Stephanie Hester, Troy Hester, Christopher Browning, Jonathan Holcombe, Matthew Browning, Timothy Lovell, Rachel Lovell; great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Patton, Alexandra Lynch, Natalie Lynch and Julie Lynch; and a host of other dear friends.
