Ollie Dean Brunson

Services for Ollie Dean Brunson, 77, Whitehouse, were held Dec. 18 at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Drs. Hal Brunson, Tony Cleaver and James Blaylock officiating.

Burial was in Still Waters Memorial Gardens under direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Mrs. Brunson died Dec. 15, in Tyler.

She was born Sept. 20, 1929, in Soso, Miss., to Ollie F. and Norma Parker. She was a graduate of Jacksonville Baptist College and attended University of Southern Mississippi. She was a homemaker and member of Hill Creek Baptist Church, Whitehouse. She was a church organist for more than 55 years.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Dr. Harold Brunson, Whitehouse; son, Dr. Hal Brunson, Carrollton; daughter, Sonia Peterson, Tyler; brothers, Bill Parker and Larry Parker, both of Laurel, Miss.; five grandchildren; and one step-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Trey Brunson, Dr. Matthew Brunson, Shane McGuire, Chelsea Peterson, Charlie Peterson and Douglas Young.

Honorary pallbearers were men of Hill Creek Baptist Church and Tabernacle Baptist Church.
