Michael ‘Bush’ Musick

Services for Michael Shayne “Bush” Musick, 47, Troup, were held Dec. 15 at Cottle Funeral Home chapel, Troup, with the Rev. Dr. Rohn Boone officiating.

Burial was in Mixon Cemetery. Mr. Musick died Dec. 11, 2006, in a Tyler hospital.

He was born June 10, 1959, in Jacksonville to Marlin Doyle and Jo Ann Lynch Musick. He worked for Goodyear in Tyler. He was preceded in death by his father, Marlin Doyle Musick; sister, Patricia Starks; and brother, Jessie Lee Musick.

Survivors include son, Michael Paul Musick, Austin; daughter, Misty Michelle Spencer, Troup; mothers, Jo Ann Musick, Virginia, and Wanda Jean Cox, Tyler; brothers, Jimmy Musick, Friendswood, Joe Lynch, The Colony, Ronald Starks and Roger Starks, both of Tyler; sisters, Maria Rhodes, Troup, Lana Mosley, Virginia, and Sharon Clark, LaRue; two grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers were Roger Pope, Charlie Rhodes, Adam Rhodes, Michael Calley, Rex Worl and Rick Thompson.
