Ray Dean Waites

Graveside services for Ray Dean Waites, 78, Whitehouse, were held Dec. 20 at Mixon Cemetery under direction of Thompson Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Mrs. Waites died Dec. 17, in Whitehouse.

She was born March 25, 1928, in Jacksonville to Rayford and Ollie Dudley Hathcock. She attended school in the Jacksonville area and graduated from Tyler High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Taylor’s Chapel Church.

She was preceded in death by husband of 53 years, R.D. Waites, in 1999. Survivors include son, Danny Waites, Bullard; daughter, Pamela Wade, Tyler; two grandchildren; two great-grandsons; nieces and nephews.
