Cathey, Smith wed

Mrs. Brandon Lee Smith
Jennifer Nicole Cathey and Brandon Lee Smith were married Dec. 16 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Tyler with Pastor Vic Willmann officiating the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Kimberly Cathey of Flint. She is a graduate of Tomball High School and the University of Texas at Tyler.

The groom, son of Ricky Smith, Sr. of Van and Gina Roese of Lindale, is a graduate of Van High School and is employed by Pro One Delivery.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless satin gown featuring a delicate tulle overlay with Alancon lace, hand sewn pearls, and sparkling authentic cr ystals. The beautifully embellished bodice with lace, pearls and scalloped neckline added an extra touch of style and elegance.

Marisol Avalos served as matron of honor. Robyn Graham served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Meranda Lawrence, Emily Pearcy, Jeni Sikes, Chaley Smith, Carley Smith and Natale Spurr.

Best man was Ricky Smith Jr., brother of the groom. Tom Cathey, brother of the bride, Jeremy Adams, Shane Garcia, Bryan Sanders, Eric Sikes and Brandon Williams were groomsmen.

Flower girls were Blake McGill and Emma Sikes. Ring bearers were Cole Molnari and Jackson Newhouse.

Ushers for the wedding were Ryan Albe, Christopher Molnari and Ethan Molnari.

Vocalist was Tom Cathey, brother of the bride. He sang “The Lord’s Prayer.”

Pianist was Joy Cravens.

Houseparty members included Kennedy McGill, Sara Wilkerson and Farrah Cathey.

Special guests included grandparents of the bride, James and Dolores Molnari of Troup and John and Marjorie Cathey of Mont Alba as well as the bride’s aunt, Catherine Munson of Houston.

A reception was held at Tyler’s Woman’s Building.

Following a wedding trip to Branson, the couple will reside in Tyler.
