Marjorie B. Conaway

Graveside services for Marjorie B. Conaway, 92 of Tyler, were held on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006, at Cathedral in the Pines under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.

Mrs. Conaway passed away, Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006, at her home in Tyler.

She was born Feb. 1, 1914, in McPherson, Kan., to Dr. Raymond and Mattie Baldwin. She attended Fifth Street Presbyterian Church and Grace Community Church.

Marjorie graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa, was very involved with the PTA, and loved to travel all around the world. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, wife, friend, and caring teacher who touched many children’s lives along the way.

Mrs. Conaway was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mr. Ed Conaway; and brother, Clem Baldwin.

Marjorie is survived by her loving family including her daughter, Pam Bice and husband Jim of Tyler; son, Steve Conaway and wife Janet of Whitehouse, son, Roger Conaway and wife Phyllis of Tyler; six grandchildren; and 10 great-granchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Jeff Bice, Brent Conaway, Brian Conaway, Scott Conaway, Grant Conaway, and Kenneth Bates.
