Ricky ‘Bill’ Copeland

Services for Ricky Lynn “Bill” Copeland, 45, Tyler, were held Dec. 21 at Liberty Winona Baptist Church, Winona, with the Rev. John R. Hinton officiat-ing.

Burial was in Harris Creek Cemetery Winona, under direction of Community Funeral Home of Tyler.

Mr. Copeland died Dec. 16, in Tyler. He was born Jan. 10, 1961, in Jacksonville, and lived most of his life in Smith County. He attended John Tyler High School and was a driver for Medical Depot and member of Liberty Winona Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Lee Copeland, and brother, Shonnie Duncan.

Survivors include his wife, Dikisha R. Copeland, Winona; sons, Brandon Copeland, Tyler, La Vincent Copeland and Da Travion Copeland, both of Winona; daughter, Charne Copeland, Winona; mother, Julia Duncan; brothers, Larry Copeland, Troup, Wayne Copeland and Bernard Copeland, both of Tyler; and sister, Debra Veasey, Tyler.

Pallbearers were Shamada Timmons, Targaya Gunter, James Cooper, Marcus Gray, Grover Malone Jr., Eric Ryder, Anthony Anton and Ronald Gray.

Honorary pallbearers were deacons of Liberty Winona Baptist Church.
