Troup City Council approves resolutions
      During Tuesday's Troup City Council meeting, resolutions were passed allowing the mayor to execute the Tax-Resale Deeds relating to two properties up for bid. These are properties identified as lots 7- 10 and 11-12 on Joy Drive. A new ordinance prohibiting the use of engine brakes within the corporate limits of the city was approved.

Wheelcover found at local car wash
      A wheelcover was found at the Hurricane Car Wash on Hwy. 110. The person who found it believes it was lost there Tuesday, Feb. 27, around 3 p.m. The good citizen has brought it to the Tri County Leader office, where the owner may identify and pick it up. Call 839-2353 for more information.
