Mildred Ruth Heasley

Memorial services for Mildred Ruth Heasley will be held at Grace Community Church, Old Jacksonville Hwy on Monday, Jan. 8, at 1 p.m.

Mrs. Heasley passed away on Dec. 26, 2006. She was born September 12, 1930 in Saginaw, Mich. She was married for 50 years to Richard Heasley, who precedes her in death. She loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother.

Ruth grew up and raised her family in Michigan. Once the grandchildren began, she and Richard moved to Texas to be near family. Ruth served with the United Methodist Women for more than 20 years.

Survivors include brother, Rudolf Schmitt of Florida and sisterin law, Norma Noack of Michigan; son, Randy Heasley and his wife, Pam, of Whitehouse; grandsons, Eric and Brett Heasley, and Brett's wife Kathryn, and great-grandson, John, all of Tyler.
