Jean Kluthe

Private family services for Jean Kluthe, 68, Whitehouse, formerly of Tyler, were held Dec. 24 at Hospice HomePlace. Arrangements were with Memorial Funeral Home, Tyler.

Mrs. Kluthe died Dec. 24 at the Tyler hospice.

She was born Jan. 10, 1938 in Rocky Mount, N.C., to the late Randolph and Mavis Carpenter and lived most of her life in Tyler. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Kluthe, and two brothers.

Survivors include daughters, Betty Richards, Whitehouse, Virginia Story, Franklin, Va., and Brenda Edwards, Middleburg, Va.; brother, Randolph Carpenter Jr.; and sister, Marie Sharp.
