Blood drive Saturday

Stewart Blood Center will conduct a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God in Whitehouse. Participants should eat prior to donating and bring their drivers' licenses.

The center is reporting a blood shortage crisis developed over several weeks and restoring the blood supply back to sufficient levels will take time.

Monday and Friday the Tyler donor center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
