Dalton Holloway

Services for Dalton Holloway, 82, Whitehouse, were Saturday, Jan. 6 at Tyler Tabernacle with the Revs. Mike Littlefield and J.C. Milligan officiat-ing.

Graveside rites followed at Tyler Memorial Park under the direction of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Holloway died Jan. 4, 2007.

He was born Jan. 4, 1925 in Browndel to C.H. and Evie Holloway. He resid-ed in Buna and re-tired from Fina Oil Co. in1984. He moved to White-house in 1996.

He was a Navy veteran, 1942-1945, serving on the USS Bon Homme Richard and USS San Francisco in World War II, receiving a Presidential Unit Citation. He was a longtime mem-ber of Tyler Tabernacle and Texas Peacemakers.

Mr. Holloway is preceded in death by parents C. H. and Evie Holloway and sons Donald E. and Douglas G.

Survivors include his wife, Eloise Holloway, Whitehouse; daughter, Carolyn Westbrook; sons, Paul Holloway and Raymond Holloway; numerous family members and friends.
