WILDCATS VS. JACKSONVILLE
Varsity boys win, girls lose close one

The Whitehouse Wildcats jumped to an early 17-6 lead in the first quarter last Friday night against Jacksonville and would see the lead hold up on their way to a 54-42 win at Wildcat Arena.

Cade Clark led the way for the Wildcats as he pumped in 17 points on the night, with Kyle Ford and Mitch Marquis adding 10 and 8 points, respectively.

With the win, the Wildcats improved their season record to 19-2 and 2-0 in district play.

The Lady Cat varsity suffered yet another close loss last Friday falling on the road to Jacksonville, 44-40.

The loss left the Lady Cats with a 1-4 district mark heading into Tuesday's game against Pine Tree.

Brittani Toole and Kayla Mason paced the Lady Cats in scoring with 10 points each.

Alicia Cordova chipped in 7 points while Lauren Clarida added 6 points, including 4-4 from the free-throw line.
