Cats undefeated in district play
      The Whitehouse Wildcats remained undefeated in District 12-4A play last Friday night as they defeated Hallsville in an exciting game on the road, 48- 35. Four players reached doubledigits in scoring to help the Wildcats (21-2) build an early lead and never look back.

Lady Cats get on track
      The Whitehouse Lady Cats picked up a big win at home Friday night defeating the Hallsville Lady Bobcats with a score of 40-34 at Wildcat Arena. With the win, the Lady Cats improved to 3-4 in district play as the first half of district comes to an end.

      Both the Lady Cat sub-varsity teams picked up wins last Friday night at home versus the Hallsville Lady Bobcats. In the JV game, Haley Aldridge and Kaycee Renn paced the Lady Cats in scoring with 12 and 11 points, respectively, as the Lady Cats downed the Lady Bobcats, 31- 27.

      Three of the four Whitehouse teams playing Tuesday night defeated their Henderson opponents, with the girls JV losing a heart-breaker by one point. The Wildcat boys squads were at home, and the varsity continued their district winning streak, going 5-0 with a 68-42 rout of Henderson.

Junior Lady Tigers score big wins
      The middle school girls teams chalked up some recent wins in their contests with Wascom and Garrison. On Jan. 4, the Lady Tiger eighth grade downed Wascom 49-30 behind the scoring of Lauren Fite with 25 points. Others contributing were Jessica Ross with 12 and Ambra Medford with 6.
