Tyler Civic Theatre lists upcoming plays What happens when a beautiful young woman drops into the comfortable and predictable life at the Holy Family Rectory? Life becomes very complicated for the characters and very funny for the audience at Bless Me Father, the new play opening in the Braithwaite Theatre at the Tyler Civic Theatre Center (TCTC) at 7:30 p.m., on Thursday, Jan. 25. John Woods, resident director for the Braithwaite Theatre, directs this fast-paced and hilarious farce written by Craig Alpaugh. Dan Benson is producer for the show. The play's plot centers on the two priests who share life in the rectory and also includes assorted parishioners and other church figures. The laughter starts at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25, and continues ever y evening through Saturday, Feb. 3, except for Sunday, Jan. 28. The matinee performance on the 28th begins at 2:30.
