Inez George

Services for Inez George, 65, Troup, were held Jan. 15 at West Shady Grove Cemetery with Michael George officiating under direction of Thompson Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Mrs. George died Jan. 11, 2007 in Tyler. She was born Sept. 18, 1941 in Jacksonville to the late Charlie and Mary Kassler George. She attended school in New Hope, retired from Wal-Mart after seven years of serv-ice, and was a member of Sunset Baptist Church of Jacksonville.

Survivors include sons, Sandy McDaniel, Jacksonville, and James Ashley, Corsicana; daughter, Janet Buffalo, Jacksonville; brothers, Davis George, Jacksonville, Lacy George, Troup, and Nelson George, Irving; sisters, Verda Loftin, Jacksonville, and Faye Day, Irving; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
