Varsity kickers boot Henderson

Whitehouse battled the Henderson Lions and the elements Tuesday night, managing a 4-0 victory on a cold, wet field.

Howard Rodriguez started the scoring with a break-away goal mid-way through the first half. Four minutes later, Caleb Jacque nailed a blistering shot to make it 2-0 with 13:39 remaining.

After Rodriguez was fouled, Paul Metzner put an easy penalty kick in the corner of the goal to give the Cats a 3-0 lead at halftime.

The final score of the game came with 20:34 left on the clock. Defender Robby Downs scored on a head shot from Metzner's corner kick.

Justin Parker and Colton Strother preserved the shutout for Whitehouse.
