Chamber banquet March 2

Rep. Louie Gohmert will be the featured speaker at the annual banquet for the Troup Chamber of Commerce.

The event is scheduled 6 p.m. March 2 at the high school cafeteria. Following the meal, guests will move to the auditorium (complete with new sound system) to hear Rep. Gohmert. The Chamber will also identify the citizen of the year, firefighter of the year, police officer of the year and business of the year. Door prizes will also be given away.

Tickets are on sale now for $15 or 2 for $25. The meal, consisting of brisket and extras, will be provided by the Troup Women's Civic Organization.
