Whitehouse loses Roy Lawrence

Autopsy results are still pending on an exact cause of death for Roy Lawrence who was found dead inside a Tyler pharmacy last weekend.

According to Don Martin, Tyler Police Department public information officer, there was no sign of a break in and foul play is not suspected.

Lawrence is well known in Whitehouse for his community involvement with YesterYear. He was serving as the organization's president this year.

He served as Manager of Bus Operations for WISD and was Steve Sherwood's par tner in the Medicine Shoppe in Whitehouse.

"I don't know what we'll do around here without him, but I know he's in a far better place," said Vickie Godsey of WISD transporation.
