Daisy Bryant

PRICE - Graveside services for Daisy Cardwell Bryant, 75, Carlisle, were held Jan. 20 at Pinecrest Cemetery, Troup, with the Rev. Andy Cox officiating under direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Mrs. Bryant died Jan. 14, 2007, in a Henderson hospital.

She was born July 16, 1931, in Shreveport, La., to the late John Clark and Jessie Mae Robinson Canfield. She graduated from Carlisle High School and was a member of Carlisle United Methodist Church. She was a cashier for Beall's Department Store in Jacksonville for many years and lived in Oregon for 25 years, returning to Carlisle in 1996. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude A. Bryant, in 2004.

Survivors include son, Douglas Cardwell, Buffalo, Wyo.; daughter, Glenna Searcy, Troup; brother, William H. Canfield, Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; and four greatgrandchildren.
