SCHOOL BOARD RECOGNITION MONTH
Whitehouse Independent School District Trustees
RANDALL ROBINSON

RANDALL ROBINSON
Currently serving as board president, Randall Robinson been a trustee for 15 ½ years. Prior to being elected to the school board, he served on the Whitehouse City Council for nine years.

Robinson graduated from Whitehouse High school, Tyler Junior College and the University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with High Honors, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting. He is currently self-employed as a CPA.

Robinson moved to Whitehouse in the fourth grade; after graduating from UT he lived in Dallas for five years and then Tyler for two years before moving back to Whitehouse.

He and wife Susan have been married since 1983 and have one son, Michael, a senior at WHS.

Robinson has been a member of Whitehouse United Methodist Church for 44 years and currently serves as church treasurer. DARRELL CRYMES

Trustee Darrell Crymes has served four years and is a 30-year resident of Whitehouse. He and wife Tina have a son, four daughters and three grandchildren and are members of Hill Creek Baptist Church.

Crymes is employed as development manager for Conaway Homes and has been the assistant fire chief for the Whitehouse Volunteer Fire Department for five years.

Jason Wade is serving his fifth year on the Whitehouse school board. The 26-year resident of Whitehouse moved here when he was in the fifth grade.

W a d e has been married to wife Marie for 12 years, and they have three children: Brett Carter, Macy Wade and Brody Wade.

Frank Cuca is serving his eighth year as a WISD board trustee. Cuca holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and is married to Carol Cuca, a thirdgrade teacher at Higgins Intermediate School. They have been married for 31 years and have lived in Whitehouse for 23 years.

They are the proud parents of two children, Amy and Chad, who attended WISD K-12 and graduated from Texas A&M. Amy is currently a third-grade teacher with Plano ISD. Chad is a secondyear student at Baylor Dental School.

The Cucas attend church at Pollard United Methodist Church in Tyler where Frank serves on the Finance Committee and Counting Team.

A resident of Whitehouse since 1990, Vince Primo has served on the school board since 1996. Primo said of his tenure, "I feel it has been a privilege to be able to serve as a school trustee the last 10 years, and I am glad that I have been able to give something back to our great community."

A graduate of Stephen F. Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Primo is a sales manager at Atlas Building Systems Inc. in Tyler. He attends Central Baptist Church in Tyler and is former chairman of the Whitehouse Parks and Recreation Committee and former co-chair of the original Home Rule Charter Committee.

Primo's wife Kathy graduated from WHS in 1985; they have two children: sophomore Chelsea and seventh grader Kyleigh. HOWARD PATTERSON

A resident of Whitehouse for 5 ½ years, Howard Patterson has 1 ½ years of service on his first term as trustee. Professionally, Patterson is the assistant vice president for Student Affairs at the University of Texas at Tyler.

FRANK CUCA
Patterson earned a Bachelor of Science degree form Springfield College in Massachusetts, a Master of Science from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls and a Ph.D. from the University of North Texas in Denton.

He is very active in the community, including memberships in the Whitehouse Chamber of Commerce, Tyler Chamber of Commerce: SporTyler, South Tyler Rotary and Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Patterson coaches for Rose Capital West Little League, Tyler Soccer Association and Whitehouse Little Dribblers.

Patterson's wife, Cathi, is a pre-K teacher in Whitehouse. The Pattersons have three children: Jori, ninth grade; Kenzie, seventh; and Coleman, fifth. KEVIN CASHION

Trustee Kevin Cashion has been on the Whitehouse school board for three years. A CPA, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Tyler in 1989 and graduated from Henderson High School in 1985.

He and wife Angelee have been married for 21 years. They have two children: Seth, 16, a sophomore at WHS; and Conner, 14, an eighth-grader.

Residents of Whitehouse for 12 years, the Cashions attend Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
