Lady Cat trio too much for Mavs in 57-44 win

The Whitehouse Lady Cats used a strong third quarter to pull away from Marshall on the road last Friday night en route to a 57-44 win.

The Lady Cats would take down the Lady Mavs through the trio of Caroline Perrier, Kayla Mason and Brittani Toole.

Perrier, the freshman sharp shooter, would catch fire from three-point land connecting on 4-6 from behind the arc on her way to a game high 20 points.

Mason would do most of her damage from the free throw line going 8-10 to post 17 points while adding 9 rebounds.

Toole would make her presence known from the inside, scoring 15 and adding 6 boards for the night.

"We continued to apply good pressure defense, especially in the second half, and that was the key for the victory," said Coach Willie Hill.
