WH, Lobos tie, 0-0 Whitehouse goal Justin Parker faced 21 shots on goal as the Wildcats battled Longview at Lobo Stadium Tuesday night. In the end, neither team was able to score. The tie brings the varsity record to 5-2-2. The Wildcats played defense most of the night, taking just 5 shots on goal. In a stellar performance, Parker made some spectacular saves to keep the shutout alive. In the JV game, the Lobos prevailed 4-1. Longview had a commanding lead at halftime, 3- 0, off of 10 shots on goal compared to Whitehouse's 3. The Wildcats finally got on the board when Troy Coffee shot on goal, and the Longview keeper muffed the ball to a waiting Marco Hernandez who put the ball in the net making it 3-1.
