WH picks up big road win

The Whitehouse Lady Cats picked up a big win on the road last week at Henderson defeating the Lady Lions, 37-32.

Brittani Toole paced the Lady Cats with 15 points offensively and 10 rebounds defensively, including 7-8 from the free throw stripe to lead a resurging free throw effort to help clinch the win.

Alicia Cordova would add 8 points and 7 rebounds to help the Lady Cats return the favor against a Henderson team that defeated them in the first round.

"I felt like tonight was a total team effort defensively, and the kind of effort that we need going down the stretch," stated Coach Willie Hill.
