JV, freshmen continue to roll
      The Whitehouse JV and freshman teams continued on their roll in district play last Friday at home as both teams defeated the Kilgore Bulldogs. The JV team was led by Bart Henderson's 15 points on their way to a 57-23 blow out of the Bulldogs.

      Kyle Ford, Brady Parker and Cade Clark each scored 12 points to lead Whitehouse over Jacksonville. In the JV game, the Cats won 55-24, while the freshmen suffered the night's only loss for Whitehouse, losing by three, 35-38.

      The Lady Cats outscored their opponents in each quarter, and forced a tie for second place in district 12-4A with the win. Leading scorers were Kayla Mason and Brittani Toole with 12 points each and Caroline Perrier with 11. The JV girls also won 32-27.

      Whitehouse junior William Seal has earned the number one ranking for bull riders in the 4 States Division of the High School Rodeo Association. The son of Ben and Jan Seal, William took the top spot in December when he scored an 83 at a rodeo in Marshall.
