Katie Templeton

Graveside ser vices for Katie Templeton, 92, of Whitehouse, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, at City of Lubbock Cemetery in Lubbock, under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home. Mrs. Templeton passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, in a Tyler hospice.

She was born Nov. 30, 1914, in Red River County to the late William T. and Louie Harrell. She worked as an LVN at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock. She was a member of Whitehouse United Methodist Church in Whitehouse. Mrs. Templeton has lived in Whitehouse for the past 15 years and was a former resident of Lubbock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren "Shorty" Templeton.

She is survived by daughter and son--in-law, Bonnie and Larry Morris of Whitehouse; one sister, Irene Hogue of Lamesa; two grandchildren, Bill Morris of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Phillip Morris of Allen; two great-grandchildren, Taylor Attaway and Harley Morris of Pompano Beach, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Bill Morris, Harley Morris, Taylor Attaway, Phillip Morris and Tommy Thompson.
