Jimmie Schroeder

Services for Jimmie Gertrude Bowen Schroeder, 95, Ennis, mother of a Whitehouse resident, were held Jan. 25 at J.E. Keever Funeral Home, Ennis, with the Rev. Johnny Mansell officiating.

Mrs. Schroeder died Jan. 23, 2007, in Whitehouse.

She was born June 30, 1911, in Dorchester to the late Art and Kate Cochran Bowen. She graduated from Sherman High School, retired from Citizens State Bank after many years service, and was a member of Baylor Baptist Church, Ennis. She lived in Ennis for 43 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Erwin Schroeder; daughter, Margie Schroeder Mudd; son, John Louis Schroeder; three sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include daughters, Lana Branam, Whitehouse, and Gloria Martin, Humble; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; seven great-greatgrandchildren; nieces and nephews.
