TIGERS EARN ALL-DISTRICT HONORS
Troup's Nick Harrison earned Co-MVP honors for District 19-2A, and teammate Chris Davis was chosen Offensive MVP. Coach John Eastman was one of three honored as Coach of the Year. Other All-District selections for the Tigers are: (offense) Thacher Riddle, running back, first team; Jaron Hasley, tight end, first team; B.J. Rambo, tackle, first team; Hagan Patterson, guard, first team; Jason O'Steen, wide receiver, second team; Josh Tollett, guard, second team; Jared Ayres, center, second team; (defense) Jaron Hasley, end, first team; Thacher Riddle, inside linebacker, first team; John Ross, outside linebacker, first team; Cody Deese, utility player, first team; Reginald Wade, defensive end, second team; Josh Tollett, inside linebacker, second team; and Joel Hasley, cornerback, second team. Chosen as honorable mentions were Zach Childress, offensive tackle; Jami McGowan, linebacker; Jason O'Steen, linebacker; and Reginald Wade, receiver.
