UT-Tyler schedules annual baseball/softball clinic Feb. 3

The University of Texas at Tyler will hold its annual Whitehouse clinic for baseball and softball on Saturday, Feb. 3 from 10 a.m. to noon. The clinic is open to all Whitehouse area players grades 1-8 and will be conducted by UT-Tyler coaches James Vilade, baseball, and Mike Reed, softball, plus their staffs and teams.

Whitehouse graduate Tracy Loftin, ASC Newcomer of the Year, and Troup graduate Kara Turner are members of the Patriots softball team.

The clinic will be held on the WHS baseball and softball fields located behind the junior high. The first 100 players to pre-register by or email will receive campu shirts. Clinic cost is $25. Bring your own equipment.
