Whitehouse junior William Seal has earned the number one ranking for bull riders in the 4 States Division of the High School Rodeo Association. The son of Ben and Jan Seal, William took the top spot in December when he scored an 83 at a rodeo in Marshall. William has participated in 12 rodeos since September, earning two first places, three seconds and three thirds (the rest were buck-offs). Over the Thanksgiving holidays, William attended a three-day bull-riding school in Henryetta, Okla., conducted by two-time world champion Terry Don West, the last person to ride the legendary bull Bodacious. Next up for William is his first United Pro Rodeo Association event, scheduled for the first weekend in March in Sulphur Springs. In the top photo, Williams is shown with Terry Don West. Below, he competes at the Marshall rodeo where his 83-scoring ride earned him top ranking.
