DESSERT THEATER
      Ross Viergever, Ryan Ralson and Daniel Lara (at left) earned recognition for their work on Whitehouse Junior High's one-act play. Ralson was named to the All-Star cast, and Viergever was chosen honorable mention.

Jazz Ensemble plans dance fund-raiser
      Put on your dancing shoes and join the Tyler Junior College Jazz Ensemble for Moonlight Serenade, their third annual dessert and dance fundraiser. The event is set for 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9 in the Apache Rooms in TJC's Rogers Student Center. Admission is $10.
