Troup girls JV ends season
      The junior varsity Lady Tigers finished up a difficult season with back-to-back losses to Timpson and Garrison. The JV finished 2-8 in district play and 3-10 on their season. The Lady Tigers fell Tuesday night 29-18 against the Lady Bulldogs. On Friday, they lost a close game to Timpson, 16-14.

      The Whitehouse JV & freshman teams were on the road last Tuesday as they traveled to Jacksonville to take on the Indians. The JV game turned into a blow out as the Wildcats built a 25-7 lead at the half and then had a 20-3 third-quarter run to scalp the Indians, 55-24.

Kickers defeat Bulldogs
      Both the boys and girls varsity soccer teams claimed victories over Kilgore Tuesday night. The Lady Cats came back from an early deficit to win 3-1, and the boys scored three second-half goals for a 3-0 shutout. Howard Rodriguez scored two of the goals, with Jed McNeill booting the third.
