Norine Rackley Clary

ATHENS-Graveside services for Norine Rackley Clary, 79, Avalon, formerly of Athens, was held Feb. 2 at Allen Cemetery, Murchison, under direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens. Mrs. Clary died Jan. 31, 2007, at her residence.

She was born July 5, 1927, in Quitique to the late Ulmer Jordan and Ellen Elizabeth Harris Rackley. She lived in Murchison for 40 years prior to moving to Avalon six years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Clary, and grandson, BillyWarrenClaryIII.

Survivors include daughters, Linda Caldwell, Holly Lake Ranch, Shirley Anthony, Avalon, Ellen Eggleston, Winfield, and Mary Clary, Houston; sons, Billy Warren Clary, Troup, and Billy John Clary; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Akins, Pecos, and Almarine Cotten, Palacios; 15 grand-children; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
