8th grade girls defeat Nacogdoches

The Whitehouse Lady Cat 8th grade picked up two wins on the road last Thursday defeating Nacogdoches.

In the "B" game, the Lady Cats got off to an early lead and never looked back picking up a 28-10 win.

Three Lady Cats led the way in the scoring column as Danielle Nelson, Caroline Walton, and Christina Cobb all had 8 points. Rounding out the scoring for the Lady Cats were Votosha Traylor and Krystal Gordon with 2 points each.

In the "A" game, the Lady Cats won 29-15 as Chastity Stewart and Rachel Kidwell led the way with 6 and 5 points, respectively.

Jessica Morgan, Kandice Harlan, and Kayte Frye all had 4 points each, and Cr ystal McPherson, Ashlee Lambert, and Caroline Weathers had 2 points each.

With the win, the "A" team moved its district record to 4-3 while the "B" team kept its unblemished record.
