Troup Youth Association registration Feb. 10, 17, 24

The Troup Youth Association is preparing for the 2007 Baseball and Softball Summer League. There are several age divisions for both boys and girls with practices set to begin after spring break and games scheduled to start at the end of April.

Boys and girls divisions are: instructional T-ball, 4 year olds; competitive T-ball, 5-6 year olds; combo-pitch, 7-8 year olds; freshman, 11-12 year olds.

Girls divisions are: Lady Midgets, 9-10 year olds; junior, 13-15 year olds.

Boys divisions are: Senior Midgets, 9-10 year olds; sophomore, ages 13-14 year olds.

Girls ages must be as of Jan. 1, 2007; boys ages are as of April 30, 2007.

Registration will be held at the Troup Baseball Complex, Hwy. 135, on Saturday, Feb. 10, 17 and 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $50 per player, with sibling discounts for two players $80 and three or more players $100. New players need to bring a copy of their official birth certificate to register. Fees will be due at the time of sign up.
