Troup Chamber banquet March 2, tickets on sale Rep. Louie Gohmert will be the featured speaker at the annual banquet for the Troup Chamber of Commerce on March 2. Rep. Gohmert is an excellent speaker, and the Chamber moved its banquet from Thursday to Friday in order to get him, said President Mike Cline. The event begins at 6 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. Following the meal, guests will move to the auditorium. The Chamber will identify citizen of the year, firefighter of the year, police officer of the year and business of the year. Tickets are on sale now for $15 or 2 for $25. The meal, consisting of brisket and extras, will be provided by the Troup Women's Civic Organization |
