Daniel W. Adcock

Services for Daniel W. Adcock were held Feb. 13, 2007, at Marvin United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Robert Montgomery and Rev. Jeff Olive officiating. Burial followed at the Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery in Tyler.

Dan, the husband of Olivia Sanders Adcock; was born in Coushatta, La., in the Holly Springs Community on Sept. 27, 1922. He was the son of Daniel W Adcock and Chloe Adcock. He lived in Tyler for over 60 years. Dan is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Myrtle Woods.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters and husbands, Patricia and Stan Watson of Tyler and Danna and Jeff Davis of Alto, Ga.; son and his wife, Scott W. and Carla Adcock of Troup. He is also survived by his sister and her husband, Dorothy and Ivy D. Dupree of Coushatta, La. Dan is survived by his grandsons and their wives, four stepgrandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Ben Davis, Casey Davis, Landon Adcock, Roddy Turman, Mark Hudson, Marshall Hudson, Robert Adair and Jay Sanders.
