Lillian "L.D." Wallace

Services for Lillian "L.D" Wallace, 63, Tyler, were held Feb. 10 at Progressive Baptist Church with the Rev. James E. Brice officiating.

Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Co., Tyler.

Mrs. Wallace died Feb. 2, 2007, in a Longview hospital.

She was born Aug. 19, 1943, in Smith County and was a lifelong resident. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by one daughter and one brother.

Survivors include son, Tony Wallace, Tyler; daughters, Melva Harris, Longview, and Judy Young, Houston; brothers, Jimmy Pinke, William Pinke and Robert Pinke, all of Tyler; sisters, Evelyn Wallace, of Alma Jackson, Whitehouse, Evie Sanders, Fort Worth, Georgie Blaylock, Tyler, and Carol Smith, Arlington; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were William Pinke, Robert Pinke, Mark Pinke, Anthony Pinke, Ferrell Pinke, Jimmie Pinke, Billy Pinke and Willie McGee.

Honorary pallbearers were Jason Berry Kenneth C. Harris, Phythias Young Jr., Joshua Young, Kenneth M. Harris, Kevin Henry and Geno Neal.
