John E. Ramsey

Services for John E. Ramsey, 63, Tyler, were held Feb. 9 at Stewart Family Funeral Home chapel, Tyler, with the Rev. Johnny Beard officiating. Mr. Ramsey died Feb. 7, 2007, at a Tyler hospital. He was born June 23, 1943, in Shreveport, La., to the late John G. and Betty J. Ramsey. He graduated in 1962 from Woodlawn High School. He retired as a self-employed computer programmer.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Liz Ramsey, Tyler; daughter, Kelly Russell, Tyler; son, Brian Ramsey, Whitehouse; two grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; nieces and nephews..
